Product Description
Packing support grids carry the packing bed, and hold-down grids keep it in place. Various types increase the gas-liquid contact area, reduce pressure drop, fix the position of the packing and suit different distributors and columns.
How It Works
The support grid at the bottom of the bed carries the weight of the packing and the liquid on it. The hold-down grid sits on top of the bed and stops the packing from lifting or moving during pressure surges – this is especially important for light plastic packing.
